Hi, I'm Joanna, an intuitive energy healer and yoga instructor in the Phoenix, AZ area.
A lil background about me: I grew up in Sofia, Bulgaria and moved to LA at age 7. I felt like an outsider as an immigrant and deep down always felt like I didn't quite belong. After growing up living under intense pressure to prove myself to my parents, fighting my own inner battles, etc. I slipped into the party lifestyle and numbed my emotions for years. I graduated college in 2015 with a degree in Psychology AND a stomach ulcer. The painful alarm from my body was my call home. I started getting more serious about my health and making changes in my lifestyle. I started reading more and spending time in meditation. That's when I had my 1st awakening. The following years leading up to today have been spent unlearning all of the lies about what I believed to be true about this world.
Fast forward to today, when I'm not hiking or doing yoga, I'm probably working with my hands!
Since I began making my own herbal medicines in 2022 to start restoring my nervous system on a physical level, I started deepening the connection with my ancestral earth gifts.
The modern world has done a great job at disconnecting us from the wisdom of our bodies, but I don't believe we need to continue living this way. We can make a change at any time and powerfully impact the trajectory of not only our own futures, but our children's and their future children's.
In my 1:1 Soul Retrieval sessions, I help you locate and clear any blocks preventing you from hearing what your body is asking for to find balance.
I am currently apprenticing at SW Herb in Mesa, AZ and really enjoying learning about herbs. Talk about healing the witch wound! I've been able to reconnect with a deeper part of my healer side.
It's been rewarding to apply various modalities to my work and I am ecstatic to share my offerings with you!
